POWER YOGA (Ages 18–99)
Are you looking for a low-impact way to work your body like never before? Power Yoga focuses on strength, balance, flexibility, and core work. This intense style of yoga is designed to make you move and sweat. It’s a totally different way to work the body and uses muscles you didn’t even know you had. This class is designed for all levels, and no prior yoga experience is necessary. Classes are taught by a certified Yoga Instructor.
Location: Van Lieshout Rec Center (building by the ballfield)
Schedule: Mondays, 5:30–6:30 p.m.
Session Format: Multi-week instructional program
Holiday Schedule: No class on the Monday of the July 4 holiday week when applicable.
What to Bring: Yoga mat and water bottle
Registration:
Registration opens annually on April 1. Early registration is encouraged, as class size is limited to 22 participants. After the registration deadline, registrations are accepted at the Park & Recreation Department only if space remains.
